Two patients hurt after a car and truck crashed outside Ipswich Hospital

Paramedics rushed two patients into the hospital for medical attention after a truck and car collided.

Two people have been hurt in an early morning crash just outside Ipswich Hospital.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a truck and car crash after the two vehicles collided on the corner of Chelmsford Ave and Warwick Rd, Ipswich.

The incident was reported at 7.21am on Tuesday morning.

Both patients were brought inside the hospital for medical treatment.

It is understood they are both in a stable condition.

Earlier, two cars travelling eastbound crashed on the Ipswich Motorway in Gailes.

Ambulance crews arrived at the scene about 6.34am but both patients declined assessment and were not taken to hospital.
