An early morning crash west of Brisbane, where an allegedly stolen car caught on fire, has seen two people flown to hospital in critical conditions.

Two people have been flown to hospital in Brisbane in critical conditions after a firey early morning crash west of Brisbane, which allegedly involved a stolen car.
According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, just after 2am a car caught fire on the Warrego Highway near Helidon following a serious crash.
According to police, around 2am a grey 2009 Toyota Camry, allegedly stolen from Toowoomba on the morning of Tuesday January 10, was travelling west along the Warrego Highway near Helidon when it left the road and struck a tree before catching fire.
A passing motorist raised the alarm and emergency services promptly extinguished the blaze.
Police have confirmed the westbound lanes of the Warrego Highway remained closed through Helidon with traffic being diverted at the Esk turn-off, until 7am.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
Two patients were flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, both in a critical condition.
An female in her 20s suffered severe burns and a male also in his 20s suffered a head injury.
