UPDATE 1PM: A man has been taken to hospital after being freed from an overturned vehicle on the Brisbane Valley Highway.
Two vehicles collided at the corner of the highway and Beeston Dve Fernvale about 11.30am, leaving the man injured and trapped.
Firefighters freed him and he was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
EARLIER: Firefighters are working to cut a man free from a vehicle following a crash on the Brisbane Valley Highway this morning.
A two vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of Beeston Dve and the Brisbane Valley Highway at Fernvale about 11.30am.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the trapped man was in a stable condition, with paramedics assisting fire crews to free him safely from the wreckage.
A second person was checked for injuries but will not require treatment.
