Toddler faces loss of fingers following accident

A LOWOOD boy has sustained horrific injuries to his hand in an accident involving a stationary motorcycle.

A LOWOOD boy has sustained horrific injuries to his hand in an accident involving a stationary motorcycle.

An ambulance spokeswoman says the boy was injured when he touched the spinning wheel of a motorcycle that had been positioned on a stand at a private residence.

The incident was reported about 11.27am.

It is feared the boy could lose some fingers as a result of the accident.

The two-year-old patient has been rushed to the Lady Cilento Hospital.
