Three people treated, one in a serious condition following single vehicle accident at Dundas

A baby and a toddler are being treated by ambulance officers after a single-car crash blocked traffic at Dundas, near Ipswich, on Thursday morning.

Paramedics are on scene at a single-vehicle crash at Wivenhoe Somerset Rd, Dundas, in the Somerset region near Ipswich.

The crash occurred at 9.42am on Thursday, December 21, with traffic being held up north of the Northbrook Parkway intersection.

An adult female occupant of the car was reported to have suffered abdominal injuries and has been transported in a serious condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

A baby and a toddler who were also passengers have been transported in a stable condition to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

Police have requested extra traffic control support for the stretch of road while the incident is investigated and the occupants treated.
