Three people were taken to hospital after a car crashed into a house in Ipswich on Tuesday evening.

Emergency services rushed to a Storr Circuit address in Goodna just before 6pm.

The car is understood to have crashed into the garage of the house.

Two firefighter crews attended the single-vehicle incident and were at the scene for about an hour.

“They shored up the structure before moving the vehicle,” a Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said.

“That vehicle was moved from the house just before 6.30pm. Everything was made safe and it was handed back to the occupants around 7pm.

“It looks like they had to prop up whatever the car had knocked down.”

Paramedics took three people, who were all occupants of the car, to Ipswich Hospital in stable conditions with minor injuries.
