Brown is a pocket rocket who has enormous passion for the game of rugby league and particularly for female participation.

As such, she was awarded the Rugby League Ipswich Junior Community Player of the year.

Gilloway lives and breathes rugby league and it’s not hard to tell when he steps on the field. He is a versatile young player who can cover many positions.

He represented the Fassifern and Western Ranges Under-12 School teams this year and was awarded the Clubs most outstanding Mini-Mod player for 2022.

CHASE WHITE – UNDER-12

Chase White took out his team’s Best and Fairest award this year in just his first year of playing. Pretty impressive hey?

With the first run of his career, White went agonisingly close to scoring an outstanding length of the field try.

Alas, he was tackled just short of the tryline.

JACK NEUENDORF – UNDER-13

Neuendorf is a very strong runner and an even stronger defender. He has played since the age of six and has always been the most destructive ball carrier on the field.

The youngster was awarded his team’s Players Player award and there is little wonder why. He is a brute on both sides of the ball.

Neuendorf also participated in the Rugby League Ipswich (RLI) NRL Rise Program.

CODY PAYNE – UNDER-13

Payne is a clever organiser and a fierce competitor. He sets the line and orders his troops around expertly, a skill not many of his age possess.

Payne received his team’s Best and Fairest accolade.

HARRISON VIDLER. RILEY POCOCK, ZAVIER HOLDORF, KAIDEN HASWELL AND HENRY EHRICH – UNDER-14

The Fassifern Bombers under-14 team won the RLI development competition this season after being runners up in 2021.

The Bombers were led by hard running edge forward Kaiden Haswell this year. Haswell had his way bursting through the line and bruising his rivals along the way.

Riley Pocock, Zavier Holdorf and Henry Enrich were his partners in crime toiling away all season.

These three also participated in the RLI NRL Rise Program in 2022 and have since made the training squad for next season’s Ipswich Jets Cyril Connell squad.

Pocock and Holdorf played up a grade in the club’s under-15 team for a large part of the season so high praise to them.

Harrison Vidler won the Club’s Most Outstanding Player award in only his second season playing rugby league, while Holdorf was awarded the Clubs Coaching Directors award for his competitiveness and attitude towards his development. It’s worth noting it was also Holdorf’s second season playing.

JACOBI WARNER – UNDER-15

Warner was not only a workhorse but his team’s general. He participated in the RLI NRL Rise Program which added an array of new dimensions to his game.

The young gun was awarded the Club’s Presidents award for his ongoing involvement on and off the field.

Indeed he is a coach’s dream player.

ALEXANDER STOKES – UNDER-15

Stokes joined the under-15 squad this year and instantly impressed the coaching staff. Whether it be energy, intensity, determination and willingness to learn, he had it all plus more.

By the end of the season he was awarded the team’s Best and Fairest player and boy did he deserve it.

ASH DOYLE – UNDER-16

We present to you one of the brightest bombers — lock Ash Doyle. This guy was the under 16 Player of the Year and the Best and Fairest.

He is one promising young talent and if you don’t believe me take it from the Canberra Raiders who just picked him up.

ASHTON MASLAN – UNDER-16

Maslan is the dream teammate. A Jack of all Trades who does a bit of everything. The utility player was one of Coach Bill Casey’s favourites throughout the year because of his ability to slide into different positions and make an impact.

RHYS STEPHAN – UNDER-17

Stephan was the standout forward in the under-17 team, catching the eye with his ability to get up and keep going.

His tireless work ethic, competitiveness and grit saw Stephan deservedly take out the Best and Fairest Player award.

BLAYDE BLANCH – UNDER-17

Blanch adds a spark out of hooker. He is not afraid to take a dart himself, makes plenty of tackles and above all he is an outstanding leader.

He leads through his actions and is a captain on and off the field.
