The New Zealand horse took out the biggest prize in Queensland provincial racing with jockey Eddie Wilkinson guiding the horse to victory.

Preliminary gate figures for Ipswich's biggest social outing were suggested more than 20,000 people attended the annual meet.

The infield area was packed with racing enthusiasts and party goers alike, while on the outside of the track thousands watched the eight races of the day.
