A new drive-through clinic will operate for three days to meet high demand for Covid tests since the latest Delta outbreak in southeast Queensland.

A new drop-in clinic will open in a bid to meet demand for Covid testing across Ipswich this week.
QML Pathology will open a temporary fever clinic at the Raceview Hockey Grounds car park on Tuesday morning.
The clinic, at 65 Briggs Road, will operate between 8am and 4pm until Friday, joining 21 other facilities across the West Moreton.
The facility will run as a drive-through clinic and will not accept patients who arrive on a motorbike or on foot, due to safety reasons.
On Monday, crowds flocked to the city’s Covid testing sites, with hundreds of cars lined up bumper-to-bumper in queues spanning several blocks.
Patients reported having to wait hours in line before being tested.

West Moreton Health warned on its social media that delays should be expected at the pop-up clinic due to extra traffic in the area.
The clinic’s operation is subject to weather and will close temporarily during rain or high winds.
The Mater Private Hospital at Springfield Central is the latest Ipswich site to be included in contact tracing, after somebody who tested positive to Covid visited the site.
Queensland Health described the hospital as a low risk contact location, following an update late on Monday night.
Anyone who visited between 1pm and 4.30pm on Thursday is required to get tested for Covid and monitor for symptoms.
The Ipswich CBD Community Vaccination Clinic reopened on Tuesday morning following a closure last week after a positive Covid case visited the clinic on Thursday between 8am and 10.20am.
