THE expanding Ipswich suburb of Collingwood Park just keeps getting bigger, with the new Woodlinks Estate releasing its 100th house block this month.
More than $17 million in house and land sales have been made at Woodlinks since the first blocks went on the market in early 2016.
The Collingwood Park community has blossomed up out of the scrub, with 75 homesites sold and the first residents settling in to their new neighbourhood.
Remaining homesites are available from prices ranging $167,300-$201,400 with blocks sized 300-580m2.
The Village Building Co sales and marketing manager Elisha Watson said the 78-hectare WoodLinks Village would eventually fit in 800 homes, with more than 30 per cent of the developed area to be retained as open space.
"Homesites are being taken up quickly at Woodlinks Village due to the community's proximity to a range of amenities, including a 5,000sqm on site family park complete with play equipment and Woodlinks Primary School and Woolworths Marketplace, which are both within walking distance," she said.
The next stage of the development, comprising 25 allotments, is about to be launched.
The Village Building Co has built a new sales centre and will promote the new releases at a family fun day planned for May 27 from 11am-2pm.
"We are excited to celebrate the imminent launch of the next stage of Woodlinks Village with present and prospective future residents at our upcoming family fun day," Ms Watson said.
"The majority of Woodlinks Village buyers are young families from the local area which is where the idea for a family fun day was born.
"The event will include entertainment for the whole family with a sausage sizzle, jumping castle, face painting, treasure hunt and prizes."
The Woodlinks Village family fun day will be held on Saturday 27 May at Palaszczuk Avenue, Collingwood Park - opposite Woodlinks State school - from 11am to 2pm.
