10-year-old Bellbird Park boy found after police search

The child was missing for more than 12 hours and was last seen leaving a home.

A 10-year-old Bellbird Park boy has been located following a police search and public assistance.

EARLIER:

An urgent search is under way to find a missing 10-year-old boy who has been missing for more than 12 hours.

The 10-year-old boy was leaving a Bellbird Park home on Jones Rd when he was last seen at about 3.30pm.

Police said it was possible he could be hiding in nearby bushland close to Annabelle Park.

The boy is described as caucasian, 150cm tall with short light brown hair and brown eyes, with a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, tan pants and black and white runners.

Police are urging residents in the surrounding area to check their properties.

It is understood the boy suffers from a medical condition and may be timid upon approach.
