DETECTIVES have charged a second person over a home invasion at Booval where a man was shot and killed.

Boronia Heights woman Johanna Maree Harper, 21, fronted Ipswich Magistrates Court on Thursday following her arrest on Wednesday afternoon.

She has been charged with two counts of armed robbery, assault occasioning bodily harm, break and enter while armed and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Ms Harper was wearing a white singlet top, whitewashed jeans and had a bandaged left arm during her brief court appearance.

No application for bail was made.

Her legal representative, Matthew Fairclough, sought an adjournment and indicated a future bail application would be made.

Magistrate Deborah Vasta adjourned the matter until March 17.

Coominya man Joshua Leonard John Watson-Scully, 20, appeared in Ipswich Magistrates Court earlier this week after being charged at the weekend with a host of offences stemming from the fatal shooting.

He is facing five charges including enter dwelling with intent, assault causing bodily harm in company, two counts of robbery with violence and unlawful use of a firearm.

Mr Watson-Scully was remanded into custody following his brief court appearance.

His matter was adjourned until March 17 when it is expected he will make an application for bail.

The QT can reveal Mr Watson-Scully, Ms Harper and a third person, David Nanai, 26, were among a group who allegedly stormed the Stafford St address on March 4, 2016 during the early hours of the morning.

Mr Nanai (pictured) was shot and killed during the incident.

His family have taken to social media to express their disbelief at what occurred.

"I just keep missing you and as the days go on my heart just breaks a little more . . . I wish you were here to see how many people loved you," said Cassidy Nanai.

Ben Caffrey, 27, and his partner Jasmine Ockhuysen, 26, who both live at the address, spent several hours being interviewed last Friday at Yamanto police station.

Another man, 24, who was present inside the house at the time of the shooting, was also interviewed at length.

Police said they were not suspects at this stage.

Police investigations into who fired the fatal shot are continuing.
