IPSWICH detectives have been called in after a resident claimed two men with a firearm were standing outside his Goodna home.
Police received a call from the Parker St resident early this morning.
The man claimed that he could see two men - one armed with a gun - in his front yard.
Police attended and the suspects fled.
Detectives are reviewing private CCTV footage of the suspects.
A motive is yet to be ascertained.
