A man in his 20s is in a serious condition after being struck by a vehicle on a busy stretch of road in North Ipswich this morning.
Paramedics said the man was suffering from serious face, arm and possible chest injuries after the incident on David Trumpy Bridge at East St and Olga St at approximately 10.15am.
The man was transported to Ipswich Hospital in a serious condition.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area or to expect significant delays.
