An OnlyFans creator has faced court for filming himself having sex with an unconscious woman without her knowledge.

Ipswich man Aubrey John Cox, 34, pleaded guilty on May 23, to recording a woman in breach of her privacy.

Crown prosecutor Ben Jackson told the Ipswich District Court that Cox had filmed himself having sex with a woman without her knowledge in May 2021.

“She was clearly unable to process or consent to that act of filming,” Mr Jackson said.

“The acts that were filmed were incredibly intimate … It’s hard to think of anything more intimate than what he had filmed.”

Cox was originally charged with rape and taken into custody.

The court heard he spent over two years in custody from January 4, 2022, to March 14, 2024, before the rape charge was dropped.

Mr Jackson said Cox had a “lengthy and concerning criminal history”, including a 2022 conviction for stalking a department of corrective services employee.

The court heard Cox was a father of-four and acted as a carer for his grandmother.

Judge Dennis Lynch said the circumstances were “very unusual”.

He convicted Cox without further punishing him, and recorded the conviction.

Cox’s 802 days in custody were taken into account but not formally declared time served.
