I measured the edge of the Woogaroo Creek to the edge of the development. It should have at least a 50m exclusion zone. It averages 15m.

THE State Government has just passed legislation about land clearing, although it seems to concentrate on farm land.

I am told that of all the hundreds of applications for houses in recent times, virtually all have been approved.

Last week, I looked toward a hill that used to be covered with bush. Now it is covered with bulldozers.

This 40ha block is being stripped to the subsoil.

I measured the edge of the Woogaroo Creek to the edge of the development. It should have at least a 50m exclusion zone. I took measurements along the southern side. It averages 15m.

The real estate agents appeal to prospective buyers, using trees and nature as attractions. That is false advertising.

It is zoned a low density.

The average lot is about 250sqm and one block is 174sqm. How do they get away with it?

Residents around Eugene St are trying to stop similar developments.

The clearing must be stopped now.

We will win because we cannot afford to lose.
