Woman airlifted after Cunningham Hwy, Silverdale, motorbike crash
A 52-year-old woman has suffered serious injuries after a crash at a highway intersection.

UPDATE: A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after a crash at a highway intersection on Monday morning.
The 52-year-old woman was flown in a rescue helicopter to Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious leg injuries.
Inspector David Nevin said a Hyundai and the motorcycle collided at the corner of Horan Rd and the Cunningham Hwy about 8.40am.
It is understood the motorcyclist suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Insp. Nevin said police were investigating and urged anyone with information to contact police.
The forensic crash unit attended the scene to assist with investigations.
The Cunningham Hwy reopened after it was closed for about three hours.

One person has been rushed to Ipswich Hospital while a second is awaiting transport in a rescue helicopter after a car and motorbike collided on the Cunningham Highway Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to the Cunningham Hwy, Silverdale about 8.43am, following reports of a crash.
A rescue chopper was on scene with police, as paramedics worked on a patient with serious injuries.
One person is reported to have suffered a significant leg injury.
Police said traffic diversions were in place, with crews on scene controlling traffic.
