Two men charged over the alleged murder of Logan father Carlo Piero Stewart have had their matters before an Ipswich court again.
Logan Central man Tye Joshua Bickle and North Booval man Brayden Alan Wilson-Knight were charged over the alleged fatal brawl in July last year.
Carlo Stewart, 31, died after being shot twice during a mass brawl that broke out between two groups of men.
Police alleged last year that nine people were involved in the brawl near Keith Pennell Park on Baden Jones Way on Tuesday, July 27.
It was alleged that residents of the North Booval address and others then armed themselves, and the horrific confrontation ensued as young children played in a park across the road.
Mr Bickel and Mr Wilson-Knight allegedly fled the scene and were later arrested.
The pair had their matters mentioned in Ipswich Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Mr Bickle faces one count of murder, two counts of grievous bodily harm and one charge of possessing dangerous drugs.
Mr Wilson-Knight is charged with one count of murder and two counts of grievous bodily harm.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be identified, was also charged over the alleged incident.
Magistrate O’Neill adjourned both men’s matters to April 13.
Mr Stewart was remembered as a ‘loving and dedicated family man’, who was turning his life around before his death.
“Carlo was a stay-at-home father, he strived to give his daughter the entire world every day, from spending quality time with her to learning new ways to care for her, recently taking to learning new braids for her hair,” friend Gabrielle Murray said.
Mr Stewart left behind partner Bonita and four-year-old daughter Aliyah.
A GoFundMe was set up to support Mr Stewart’s family following his death, which has reached $12,960.
