Motorway traffic gridlock after trailer fire

IPSWICH Motorway traffic is in gridlock in both directions at Redbank due to a fire.

A mower on a trailer has reportedly caught fire on the Ipswich-bound lanes, near Redbank Plaza.

Firefighters have been called to the scene, as it is understood there is also an LPG bottle in the vehicle towing the trailer.

The incident was first reported just before 4pm.

There are no reports of injuries.
