UPDATE 2PM: A MAN has been taken to Ipswich Hospital following a crash in which his car flipped several times after being clipped by a truck.
Police say the driver was able to free himself from the car, which came to rest on its roof on the Ipswich-bound side of the motorway at Goodna about 11.40am.
He was assessed at the scene before being taken to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the truck was issued with a ticket for an unsafe lane change.
The crash caused gridlock on the motorway until it was eventually cleared about 12.30pm.
EARLIER: A MAN seems to have escaped serious injury despite a nasty crash on the Ipswich Motorway this morning.
Police say witnesses described seeing the man's vehicle flip 3-4 times after crashing on the Motorway at Goodna about 11.40am.
The vehicle has come to rest on its roof in the right lanes near the Weeroona Hotel.
Police say the driver is out of the vehicle.
Traffic on the Ipswich-bound lanes has been brought to a standstill as a result of the crash.
