Mama Mac’s Macarons is about to open new store at Yamanto Central Shopping Centre

Macarons and other sweet treats are soon to be in abundance at a newly opened Ipswich shopping centre.
Mama Mac’s Macarons is among several newcomers to set up shop at Yamanto Central, along with shoe shops, fashion retailers and more.
The new macaron store will be Ipswich business owner Nicole McPhee’s first shopfront and will stock the popular French treat as well as other goodies from bakers across the region.
The store is fitted out with plenty of baking ovens and is set to produce more than 3000 macarons a week from across the 30-flavour range.
“At Mama Mac’s, we will be creating and selling our famous range of macarons,” Ms McPhee said.
“Shoppers will be able to drop in at any time of the day and have a cup of coffee and enjoy a market type menu while doing the weekly grocery shop.
“ We will also be able to undertake large and specialty orders for events, birthdays, functions and other activities.”
Ms McPhee said she was planning to serve up breakfast at some point.
“(We will be) introducing a breakfast menu after opening as well,” Ms McPhee said.
“Our menu isn’t going to include your standard bacon and eggs.
“We will be offering indulgent dishes such as bubble waffles and Japanese souffle pancakes.”
Exercise and fitness brand Hiit Republic has opened its first Ipswich location at Yamanto Central and is already drawing in plenty of interest, joining Club Lime at the health precinct.

The Yamanto Central Shopping Centre is becoming a hub, with household names like Kmart and Coles already settled in.
As well as Coles and Kmart, Yamanto Central will feature over 8000sq m of specialty, lifestyle and health retailing plus an outdoor dining and restaurant precinct.
