RACHEL Nolan has lost the previously safe Labor seat of Ipswich while her party colleague Wayne Wendt has also been defeated in Ipswich West
The seats of Ipswich and Ipswich West, despite Labor margins of more than 15%and 9% respectively, both fell in the LNP's historic landslide.
The LNP's Sean Choat (Ipswich West) and Ian Berry (Ipswich) represent the city in the new LNP-dominated parliament.
ALP member for Bundamba Jo-Ann Miller is set to be the only of the Ipswich Labor member to keep her seat.
The LNP has kept the seat of Lockyer and won Beaudesert and Nanango.
