It was one of Ipswich’s most popular nightlife venues and drew enormous crowds through the doors every weekend.
Known as Hotel Metropole and the Ipswich Central Hotel, the Brisbane St venue has changed hands 10 times in two decades, its name changing as frequently as its owner.
The heritage-listed building last sold in October 2020 to a Sydney-based investor for $1 million.
