BEATLE-mania is on its way to Helidon.
The town will celebrate the New Year with a Best of British evening, starring local favourite band Hopney Moffett.
The eight-piece band will be outfitting themselves in their finest '60s attire, including a number of members dressed as Liverpool's finest, before performing hits by The Beatles, Rolling Stones and other British rock icons.
Hopney Moffett singer Andrew Bramble said the night would be a great evening of entertainment.
"The music from The Beatles hits all generations," he said.
"We've got one member of the band who is just 19 and his favourite band is The Beatles."
The band will take to the stage from 8pm at the Helidon Community Hall on Alfred St.
"While we'll be playing a lot of Beatles, there will be songs by other bands like the Kinks and the Trogs," Mr Bramble said.
"We'll be playing Beatles songs like Can't Buy Me Love, Back in the USSR, Help, Get Back, and songs like Jumping Jack Flash by the Rolling Stones as well."
Patrons are encouraged to turn up in costume from the decade of love, with a best dressed Beatles competition being held.
Hopney Moffett formed in Helidon for the annual jazz festival five years ago.
Mr Bramble said they had enjoyed playing together so much they'd decided to stick together after the festival ended.
"It was a lot of fun and we thought, 'Why don't we keep it going?'" he said.
The band released its first album, I'm Just So Excited About Myself, a year ago.
Tickets to the New Year's Eve celebration can be bought online at www.helidon.org for $25 or at the hall on the night for $35, or $15 for patrons under 18.
