Female rider with broken leg after bike crash

A MOTORCYCLE rider is being treated for a broken leg following an accident near Somerset Dam this afternoon.
Police say the rider crashed off Esk-Kilcoy Rd at Somerset Village about midday.
The woman fell down an embankment with a suspected broken ankle.
Firefighters were called to assist in the recovery of the rider but were not required in the end.
Both lanes of Esk-Kilcoy Rd were closed until about 1.20pm.
The woman has been taken to Toowoomba Hospital.
