A coffee shop in the Ipswich CBD will be “opening later” than usual on Tuesday after a coffee machine burst into flames.
Three Fire and Rescue crews were sent to the Dancing Bean Roastery on Brisbane St about 8.15pm on Monday night.
A Queensland Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said police and ambulance crews were on scene.
“There was a lot of smoke but the fire was contained to that one coffee machine so we ventilated the premises,” the spokeswoman said.
One person was on scene, accounted for and uninjured.
The spokeswoman said the blaze was extinguished quickly and fireys left the venue just after 9pm.
“The Fire Investigation Unit won’t be investigating this one,” she said.
The cafe took to its social media, posting it would be opening later than usual due to unforeseen circumstances.
