Child, woman in hospital following car crash at West Ipswich

A woman in her 20s and a child are in hospital following a car crash in West Ipswich on Sunday night.
Paramedics, including critical care, arrived at the corner of Clay and Brisbane Streets about 6.26pm.
The young woman suffered back pain and both she and the child were transported to Ipswich Hospital in stable conditions.
A man in his 30s was assessed but did not require transport to hospital.
Firefighters arrived on scene of the two-vehicle crash just after 6.30pm, leaving within 10 to 15 minutes as “no persons were trapped”.
“They just made the scene safe and left it in the hands of QAS,” A QFES spokeswoman said.
Police also attended the crash.
More than 230 people have died on Queensland roads this year, 34 in the South East.
