Human bones found in bag at Kangaroo Point cliffs

HUMAN remains have been found in a bag at Kangaroo Point cliffs in Brisbane. Police have declared the area a crime scene.

HUMAN remains have been found at Brisbane’s Kangaroo Point cliffs.

The discovery was made by a passer-by about 10am.

When police arrived they found bones and clothing.

The bones were found inside a bag with the clothing and a crime scene has since been declared at the foot of the cliffs.

Testing is still to be done to determine who the remains belong to and whether there are suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

Kangaroo Point cliffs is a popular riverside site often filled with tourists, joggers, walkers and abseilers.
