E-scooter rider seriously hurt in crash, hour-long delays on Bruce Hwy
An e-scooter rider has suffered serious injuries after a crash southwest of Brisbane. It comes after heavy delays hit South East roads.

An e-scooter rider has suffered serious injuries after colliding with a car at Inala, southwest of Brisbane.
The crash happened just before 4pm on Centaurus Street, with a man aged in his 40s taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition with significant chest injuries.
A second e-scooter rider was taken to hospital after a crash on Sixth Avenue at Kedron, in Brisbane’s north, also just before 4pm. That rider was taken in a stable condition.
Earlier in the afternoon, drivers were hit with hour-long delays north of Brisbane, while a crash just south of the city also delayed traffic.
Several minor crashes on the Bruce Highway northbound from Brisbane saw heavy delays from North Lakes to just past Caboolture, with the delays hitting almost an hour at their peak.
The delays had eased by 3.30pm but it was still taking drivers almost an hour to get through. The delays had cleared by 5.45pm.
Meanwhile another crash in Greenslopes had traffic building on the M3 from Woolloongabba to Greenslopes with delays hitting almost 20 minutes at 3pm.
While the minor crash heading southbound had been cleared, traffic was still slow moving through the M3 at 3.15pm but had cleared by 4.45pm.
