Heavy rain across Darling Downs, Granite Belt after weekend of storms
Heavy, widespread rain has drenched parts of the Darling Downs over the weekend with more on the way this week.

The Darling Downs and Granite Belt have been drenched in a wet weekend that saw more than 60mm of rain falling in some areas.
Since 9am Sunday, Toowoomba had 34mm of rain which all fell within half an hour.
In Karara west of Warwick, 45mm fell as severe thunderstorms rolled through the area, while Warwick copped a drenching of 42mm.
Goondiwindi on the Queensland and New South Wales border had 40mm of rain, while the New Kildonan weather station recorded 61mm.
The falls are expected to continue across southern parts of the state with scattered showers across the southeast over the coming days.
Brisbane is expected to reach a top of 31C today before climbing to a sweltering 34C tomorrow with possible showers.
The Gold and Sunshine Coasts will be partly cloudy today, with temperatures reaching up to 30C before possible showers on Tuesday.
There is a 50 per cent chance of showers across the south east on Christmas Day.
The Cunningham Highway in Goondiwindi has been impacted by flash flooding, with all lanes closed near the Mundina rest stop.
