Health alert: Where confirmed Sydney cluster COVID case went in Qld

Queensland Health has issued an updated public health alert for people who need to act or monitor for symptoms after it was confirmed a case from the Sydney cluster visited Queensland.

Northern Beaches: New border crackdowns amid growing cluster

After confirmation that a positive COVID case from the Sydney cluster visited Queensland on Wednesday, Queensland Health has issued the following public health alert details and list of places the woman visited.

Anyone who has visited the below venues during the listed times should get tested immediately and isolate if they develop any symptoms.

December 16 - Virgin flight VA925, Sydney to Brisbane - Arrival time 9.00am/9.30am

December 16 - Brisbane Domestic Airport, Brisbane City - 9.00am/09.30am to 09.54am

December 16 - Hertz Car Rental, 1980 Sandgate Road, Boondall - 10.00am (Exchanged vehicle at 10.15am) to 10.30am

December 16 - The Glen Hotel, Eight Mile Plains - 11:00am to 2.30pm (Anyone who visited after 2:30pm should continue to monitor for symptoms and get tested if any develop)

December 17 - Hertz Car Rental, 1980 Sandgate Road, Boondall - 8.30am (Exchanged vehicle at 8.55am) to 9.00am

December 17 - The Prince Charles Hospital Fever Clinic, Chermside - 10.19am to 10.26am

December 16 - Hungry Jacks, Kawana Waters - 8.00pm to 10.00pm

December 17 - Coles Express, Mooloolaba - 7.00am to 7.30am

December 16 - Kawana Waters Nightcap Hotel, Buddina - 9.00pm to 7.00 am on 17/12/20

December 16 - Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Birtinya - 5pm to 8.30pm

The following people will be contacted by contact tracers, asked to come forward for testing immediately and quarantine for 14 days from Wednesday 16 December 2020:

- Passengers from rows 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 on Virgin flight VA925 on Wednesday 16 December 2020.

- Close contacts from the restaurant at The Glen Hotel – 24 Gaskell St, Eight Mile Plains – on Wednesday 16 December 2020.

The following people must monitor their health, come forward for testing if they develop any symptoms, and isolate until they receive their results:

- All other passengers from Virgin flight VA925 on Wednesday 16 December 2020.

- Anyone who attended the Glen Hotel on 16 December after 11.30am on Wednesday 16 December 2020.
