Emergency services were called to a private residence in Tamaree on Tuesday night after reports of a dog bite.
Paramedics received a call at 5.52pm after a woman in her 70s was bitten by a dog.
The woman suffered from minor abrasions on her arm, a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said.
She was taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.
