WEDNESDAY 6.30am:
STILL cold? This morning hit a minimum of 6.2 degrees, slightly warmer than yesterday's 5.7 degrees but still cooler than August's average lowest temperature of 7.1 degrees.
The Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Matthew Marshall said there will be a few clouds around today but not much precipitation until tomorrow afternoon when a trough system is likely to bring showers and a possible thunder storm.
A top of 25 degrees is expected today and 26 tomorrow with a minimum of 9 degrees before the moisture clears off on Friday and the incoming cool air will see temperatures drop slightly again to a predicted minimum of 8 degrees.
Saturday's temperatures are predicted to range between 7 and 24 degrees.

A top of 24 is expected today, increasing to 25 tomorrow and Thursday.
