A MAN has died in the most tragic of circumstances after falling 15m from the roof of a Wallu bed and breakfast yesterday.
The man, 64, was reportedly trying to adjust an aerial on the roof of the multi-storey building, when he fell.
He suffered massive head and chest injuries after landing on concrete in the pool area.
Paramedics rushed to the scene, when they were called just after midday, a Queensland Health spokesman said.
The man was in an ambulance on route to Archery Park in Gympie when he succumbed to his injuries at 1.40pm.
A rescue helicopter was on stand-by to transport the man to hospital.
MONDAY:
PARAMEDICS are treating a man in his 60s who fell off a roof at a Wallu home around midday today.
The man sustained head and leg injuries from the 10m fall and is waiting to be transferred by rescue helicopter to hospital.
Queensland ambulance could not confirm whether the man was in a stable or serious condition.
