GYMPIE police are on the look out for two vehicles that were stolen from the Gympie region in the past week.

A Toyota Hilux (pictured) was stolen from Randwick Rd, Veteran sometime between last Thursday and Saturday.

The vehicle had been broken down, the owner told The Gynpie Times and would have had to be towed to be removed.

A police spokesman said the quarter glass windows had been removed from the vehicle and were found on the side of the road.

In a second, seemingly unrelated incident, a 1995 red Holden Commodore was taken from outside a property on Tamaree Rd, Tamaree on Sunday evening.

The Gympie police encourage anyone with information about either of these incidents to report it to the Gympie police on 5480 1111 or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
