Serious condition for rider in north Gympie motorbike crash

A rider has been airlifted to a Sunshine Coast Hospital after a serious motorbike crash at Corella, north of Gympie on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency service crews were called to the scene of the single-motorcycle crash at a location off Wood Road at about 1pm, according to the Queensland Ambulance Service.

“A patient has been airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition,” QAS media sources said.
Just an hour earlier, another patient was transported to Gympie Hospital following a motorcycle crash “at a location off Inskip Point Road” at 11.54am.

On Saturday (August 14) a rescue helicopter was called to the scene of a reported car and pedestrian incident on a private property in Araluen at 3.37pm.
A patient was reportedly being treated for serious head and facial injuries, and their condition was listed as serious but stable, per the QAS.
