SEEING world famous sand sculptor Dennis Massoud sculpt sand into a natural work of art will be one of many remarkable sights at the Tin Can Bay Seafood, Boat & Camping Show on Saturday.
Fresh seafood will be at the heart of the festival with prawns, crabs, scallops, and oysters being the order of the day when the show starts at 9am on the foreshore.
Entertainment and market stalls will provide colour and a host of free and family friendly activities and competitions mean kids can have a blast without a major blow to the budget.
Sand sculpting workshops, laser skirmish, mini fire truck rides and the popular skateboarding, BMX and scooter competition (kids must wear helmets to compete) are all free for kids throughout the day.
Free fun for the adults will take the forms of a mullet throwing competition and a prawn eating competition.
Anyone can enter, with categories for men and women. Contestants trying their hand at prawn eating not only have to be good prawn eaters, but also good beheaders and peelers.
Free onstage entertainment will run all day, with live music from Tony Worsley, Glen Mooney & Southbound, Swingin' Dixie and dance displays from Zena's belly dancing group and Gold Dust Rockers.
For a fun day centred on fresh seafood and fun attractions, head to the festival this Saturday.
