Man flown from Coles Creek property after tree felling incident
A man aged in his 30s has been seriously injured while cutting down a tree on a private property about 20km south of Gympie.

A man aged in his 30s has been flown to hospital after he was struck by a falling gum tree on a private property about 20 minutes south of Gympie on Friday afternoon.
An RACQ Lifeflight spokeswoman said the man was cutting the tree down when it fell on him, trapping him underneath it.
Emergency crews were called to the scene, just off the Old Bruce Hwy south of the Traveston service centre, about 1.30pm
He was treated by paramedics and an aeromedical crew for head, chest and limb injuries before being flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
