The search for a 15-year-old girl who went missing from the Gympie region has had a happy conclusion, with police saying the teenager was found on Thursday.
The 15-year-old, who has not been named, had last been seen at a Pie Creek home at 11.30pm on Tuesday, December 21.
Police and her family were concerned for her safety with her behaviour described as out of character.
