Police are hunting a man who threatened beachgoers at a popular tourist destination in regional Queensland.
A Qld Police spokesman said officers were called to Rainbow Beach about 1.30pm on Monday, June 2, to reports an armed man was threatening people on the beach.
“The man fled into nearby bushland once police arrived,” the spokesman said.
Investigations are continuing.
