Police and paramedics called to incident in Brooyar State Forest

Emergency crews have rushed to bushland at Bells Bridge after reports of a mental health-related incident, with police confirming no public risk.

Multiple emergency crews including police and paramedics are responding to what is understood to be a mental health-related incident in bushland at Bells Bridge.

Several first responders were called to the area near Point Pure Rd, in the middle of Brooyar State Forest One and within a kilometre of the Point Pure and Eagles Nest lookouts, about 2pm Tuesday.

Police have declined to comment further on the matter beyond saying it was mental health-related.

There is no risk to the public.
