Pedestrian hit near Bruce Hwy on busy Gympie intersection
A woman in her 60s has been taken to hospital after she was hit by a car at a busy Gympie intersection.

Emergency services have rushed to a busy Gympie road after reports a pedestrian has been hit by car.
Paramedics were looking over a woman in her 60s after emergency services were called to the corner of Cross St and Rowe St near the Bruce Hwy following reports of a pedestrian being hit just after 5pm.
It is understood the incident occurred at a pedestrian crossing signal directly outside Gympie’s Hyundai dealership.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the woman had pelvic, leg and head injuries and was taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.
Police were also called.
Traffic continued to move, but had slowed around the incident.
