Jake Geiger, Alyce Burgess, Courtney McEwan to face Supreme Court in separate matters

Two Gympie woman and one man will face serious drugs and weapons charges in the Supreme Court in 2025.
Jake Raymond Geiger, 30, is charged with breaching a suspended jail sentence, to be heard in the Supreme Court on February 24, 2025,, and of possessing tools for a crime, possessing stolen property, ignoring an order to provide access to electronic information, possessing property linked to a drug crime, possessing property suspected to be proceeds of a drug offence, firing a weapon in a public place, and three counts of making excessive noise or smoke some time between September 18, 2022 and October 13, 2022.
Mr Geiger is not currently in custody and his court hearing at Gympie Magistrates Court has been adjourned to February 10, 2025.
In a separate and unrelated matter, Alyce Maree Burgess, 33, will face six charges in Gympie Magistrates Court on March 17, 2025, and 19 charges in the Supreme Court on March 6, 2025.
She is charged with unlawfully supplying a weapon (Category A, B, or M), unlawful possession of a weapon (Category A, B, or M), illegally buying or possessing restricted medicines or hazardous poisons, possessing property linked to a drug crime, and possessing explosives without proper authority.
The 19 charges to be heard in the Supreme Court include eight counts of supplying dangerous drugs to a minor under 16, four counts of possessing a dangerous drug (Schedule 1 or 2), aggravated supply of dangerous drugs to a minor aged 16 or over, trafficking dangerous drugs, supplying dangerous drugs, unlawfully supplying a restricted substance or item, unlawfully possessing a restricted substance or item, unlawful possession of a restricted weapon (Category D, H, or R), and failing to provide access to a digital device (under Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000).
Ms Burgess has been in custody since June 29, 2023.
In a further separate and unrelated matter, Courtney Shae McEwan, 21, will face 13 charges in the Gympie Magistrates Court on March 17, 2025, and 10 charges in the Supreme Court on February 27, 2025.
She is charged with three counts of breaching bail, two counts of possessing used drug utensils or pipes, two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon (Category A, B, or M), possessing dangerous drugs, possessing explosives without proper authority, possessing property suspected for use in a drug crime, possessing property suspected to be proceeds of a drug offence, possessing drug utensils or pipes for use, and possessing property linked to a drug offence.
Ms McEwan is also charged with two counts of unlawfully supplying a weapon (Category A, B, or M), two counts of supplying dangerous drugs (Schedule 2), two counts of possessing items used to commit a crime, two counts of unlawfully possessing a restricted substance or item, trafficking dangerous goods, and possessing a dangerous drug (Schedule 1 or 2).
