Pilot airlifted after ditching plane in Gympie paddock
A man in his 30s had to be airlifted to the Sunshine Coast after being forced to ditch his plane into a rural paddock at Langshaw, south west of Gympie.

Paramedics responded to a private address at 5.15pm on Thursday after reports a light aircraft had undertaken a forced landing in a paddock south west of Gympie.
The single occupant of the light aircraft, a male in his 30s, was airlifted by a rescue helicopter to Sunshine Coast Airport in a stable condition with neck and leg injuries.
He was then transported by road to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
