Paul Frampton voted Gympie’s favourite personal trainer 2025
Gympie son and veteran personal trainer Paul Frampton has once again been voted Gympie’s favourite PT, just beating out 2024 Best Coach Bradley Morris, and those who made it into the top six.

Gympie son and veteran personal trainer Paul Frampton has once again been voted Gympie’s favourite PT, just beating out 2024 Best Coach Bradley Morris, and those who made it into the top six: Matt Stallman, Carly O’Donnell, Fiona Keable and Mackenzie Keable.
Mr Frampton won the poll back in 2019, two years after he underwent surgery for bowel cancer.
This year he won the vote with 18 per cent of the vote. Mr Stallman and Mr Morris came equal second with 13 per cent, Ms O’Donnell third with 9 per cent of the vote and Fiona and Mackenzie Keable took 7 per cent of the vote each.
The former Gympie High student will turn 61 this year, and has had more than one incarnation as a PT, now working out of Jetts Gympie.
“Thanks to everyone who voted for me,” Mr Frampton said.
“It’s very nice of you to do that. I appreciate it very much. The Gympie community has always been very good to me. Professionally and personally.
“I feel very fortunate to be able to stay within the fitness industry here and help a lot of people over many years with their varied health and fitness aspirations.
“I feel very lucky to have been able to continue to do that for so long in an ever growing/changing industry.
“The genuine love of helping people feel better and witnessing my clients progress towards their goals is my favourite part of my job.
“You get to make lifelong friends and hopefully have a positive impact in people’s lives.
“It’s very rewarding.
“In my career of some 40 years I have done a lot, owned fitness centres, as well as our own private PT spaces.
“I am now gratefully working from Jetts Gympie as club manager and continuing my with my PT business from there also.
“I’m fortunate to be associated with the very excellent group of trainers I work alongside with there.
“It’s a wonderful club with welcoming community of members and friendly culture.
“It’s very obvious the people of Gympie love their PTs/coaches and everyone has their favourite and for good reason.
“It’s testament to the very healthy and diverse group of fitness professionals we have in our town. All committed to the betterment of your wellbeing. We’re very lucky.
“Gympie is in good hands.”
