WE all know national radio and television personalties Hamish and Andy have pulling power , but now we know they have spinning power as well.
Yesterday morning we found out their campaign to get the revolving Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket reinstalled at the Gympie store wasn't just hot air when a Kelly Green and Co crane turned up to pull the old one down.
Hamish and Andy got involved with the return the spinning KFC bucket cause after Gympie man Craig Brown started a Face Book page called 'Spin the KFC bucket again'.
Yesterday, Mr Brown said he was pleased to see the stationary bucket come down and couldn't wait to see the bucket spinning again.
He also called on Hamish and Andy to come to Gympie and launch the new spinning bucket.
“I heard they were coming to town at first, and then I heard they weren't coming to town,” Mr Brown said.
“They should come to Gympie to open the spinning KFC bucket,” he said.
