A man in his 20s has been taken to Gympie Hospital with a neck injury after falling off a bull last night at the Gympie Showgrounds.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said emergency services transported the male patient in a stable condition to Gympie Hospital at about 7.37pm.

The spokeswoman said the man suffered a “neck injury” at the showgrounds on Exhibition Rd.

The Gympie Show took place from Thursday to Saturday with the bull-riding rodeo listed on the schedule between 6-9pm on Saturday.
