An elderly Sunshine Coast man has died after his motorcycle crashed into a fence along a Mary Valley road during a group ride on Sunday.

An elderly man has died after his motorcycle crashed into a fence while riding along a Mary Valley road.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman has confirmed he was on a group ride at the time.
Paramedics were called to Skyring Creek Rd in Carter’s Ridge, near the intersection of Cooroy Belli Creek Rd, about 35km south of Gympie, after reports of a single-motorcycle crash at 11.15am on Sunday.
An 82 year-old man from Maroochydore died at the scene after his motorbike left the road and crashed into a fence, police said.
It was understood the man had a suspected medical episode before running off the road.
