A motorbike rider was hospitalised following a crash with a van on Stanley Lane on the weekend.

A GYMPIE motorbike rider was taken to the Gympie Hospital with head injuries on Sunday following a crash with a Toyota Tarago on the corner of Stanley Ln and Hilton Rd around 2pm.
The 39-year-old male, who was riding a black Suzuki suffered head injuries and was bleeding from the nose and face, while the two people in the van were uninjured.
Police are investigating the accident and are calling any witnesses to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
Both vehicles had extensive damage.
