It is less than a week until the tenth annual 2021 Lions Mary Valley Family Fishing Classic gets underway.

The month-long event starts next Monday and continues through until Tuesday, November 30, attracting hundreds of people into the Mary Valley to test their fishing skills at Lake Borumba.

Competitors will be chasing a $3000 tagged fish, sponsored by the Imbil Railway Hotel. There will also be an entrants prize draw involving everyone who has paid entry to the competition whether they have fished or not.

There will be some great prizes and given the size of the competition the odds of a win are great.

Those chasing the tagged Bass must be entered into the comp and have been allocated a competitor number.

The Mary Valley Family Fishing Classic is a joint project of Lions Club of Gympie, Lions Club of Mary Valley and The Lake Borumba Fish Stocking Association, and is run by the Mary Valley Family Fishing Classic Committee.
